Our Policy
Cam Air is fully committed to our loss management / safety program. We strive to be the leaders in the industry by developing and implementing a first-class safety program. We believe that safety and loss management is not static, but is an evolving, dynamic program involving ongoing training, procedural reviews, and analysis.
Program Summary
Our program contains the following components:
- safety manual, which includes safe work procedures compliance strategies and training modules
- full pre-hire orientation touching on all main aspects of safety
- fully functional and involved safety committee with both worker and management input
- job site safety inspections with compliance instructions given and sanctions if required
- company-wide safety meetings on a bi-weekly basis highlighting work procedures, general safe practices, etc
- toolbox meetings conducted on site with job-specifc safety instruction
- regular documented safety checks of all equipment
- full compliance with all WCB / TDG requirements
- fall safety plan and hazard analysis developed for every project
- acquiring COR recognition / safety STAR training
- usage of hand-held digital thermometers and written checklist used daily for fire prevention
